But I defer to you guys.  Below is Part II of V of a Youtube video on Qu'ran contradictions (not from investigate islam).  Video is very thoughtful, and if you click on the "About this Video" to see all the intro, you'll get a listing, which the video then plays out, one by one.

In its #11 listing of contradictions, Sura 56:7 appears to me to be talking about the sons of Noah, from which come the three basic races, not the Last Judgement.  I made a comment to that effect below the video, hope to get a response.  I also posted a comment that I made his video a topic here.

Click here for the Youtube video.

Can you please list those reported 'contradictions' here? I was unable to watch that video clip.
56:7 is not talking about the sons of Noah.

It is talking about grouping of people on the Judgement Day. The good, the bad and the most excellent in the sight of the LORD Almighty. Bad to the left, good to the right and the best in the forefront.

The left side will get burned and covered in boiling water (mentioned 17 times). The right side will get some nice couches and some companions. The forefront will get gem-studded thrones, and top notch poonani.

The forefront is reserved for prophets and messengers. So the only way for a person who believes this crap, to get to the forefront is to martyr himself.

The other way to get to the forefront is to become a messenger. But that door was closed since we can not expect to get any more messengers, after Mr.Muhammad declared he is the seal of messengers.

PS: Good luck getting your throne BMZ.
PS: Why would I care for a throne in heaven.
PS: Why would Muhammad or any of the others automatically get to the forefront? Did he have any choice in the matter to become a messenger?

What's all the hub bub about bub? The Quran is supposed to be the letter for letter dictation of God, and yet God tells us that meteors chase things, the sun orbits the earth and a host of other perfectly understandable mistakes that would be completely expected from an author that had an errant vision of the cosmos that matched the other errant visions of the 7th century.

Meteors are space dust that lights up when the earth bumps into it during the earth's orbit around the sun. Who would have imagined? I wouldn't have, and apparently, neither did the author of the Quran. He thought they chased those little jinn, or were fired at them, when in fact, it seems as though he had a few too many jinn martinis .  Laughing   Laughing
