Hello

I would like to know if the hadith about the prophet sending his wife Hafsa away so he could sleep with Mariyah the Coptic slave, is true or not? I read that he told Hafsa her father had called her, and when she went away he slept with Mariyah in their bed.
Hafsa returned and 'heard' him having his way with Mariyah, and afterwards she of course remonstrates him. Apparently he threatened to divorce all his wives after that...
Anyway can someone here who is learned in Islamic sources a lot, tell me if this is true (I have only given the jist of the story). I had heard there were other versions of this hadith which give a different story..?

Thanks

Muhammad should have ordered himself stoned for cheating, like he stoned all those other people, Instead...

Instead, he ran away for couple days then came back with the Ahzab verse permitting himself, and only himself, anything that moved pretty much, Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo style.

And Ahmed took it upon himself to be the little waiter waiting outside the room telling everyone Muhammad is 'praying' while his leader is inside banging any woman that enters the house.

Muhammad: "Thanx a lot Ahmed. And make sure the wine is room temperature next time you bring it and do not stare so much, you scared the girl. Now when is your sister coming over Ahmed? I miss her plumpy ass."

Quote:
Ahzab 33:50

033.050
YUSUFALI: O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

PICKTHAL: O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war, and the daughters of thine uncle on the father's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the father's side, and the daughters of thine uncle on the mother's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the mother's side who emigrated with thee, and a believing woman if she give herself unto the Prophet and the Prophet desire to ask her in marriage - a privilege for thee only, not for the (rest of) believers - We are Aware of that which We enjoined upon them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess - that thou mayst be free from blame, for Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.

SHAKIR: O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who fled with you; and a believing woman if she gave herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desired to marry her-- specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have ordained for them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess in order that no blame may attach to you; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Not true. That hadith is a crap. All the ladies lived under the same roof. Mariyah was a Coptic slave when she was given but was no more a slave when she came in the prophet's household. Laughing

All the ladies knew each other, while outside all the companions, the fathers of the ladies and prophet's followers knew. Nothing was hidden.

Hence, there is nothing to get worried. He did not need permission from the ladies. They were his wives.  Very Happy

You quoted some verses. What is your point?

I quoted only One verse if you actually read it. It is the Famous nikah verse that was only written for Muhammad so he can sleep with anyone he wishes.

As for the hadith being crap, who the hell are you to make that statement? and thank you for acknowledging the hadith exists.

And why is the hadith crap. Does it contradict the Ahzab Nikah verse or something? One complements & explains the other. In fact, after reading the nikah verse, why would i even doubt for a second the hadith in question?

Now either answer the verse and the hadith or shut the hell up. Thank you and have a nice day.

LOL! Baal, I am going to shut you up and shut you up for good.

I believe you wrote above as a poster, not as a moderator. In either case you acted like an ignorant and an idiot.

What makes that verse the Famous Nikah verse? Rofl.  Laughing Who the hell you are to defend that crap hadith, when you can't understand the verse in Arabic? Are you a follower of Ahle-Hadith?  Laughing

Where does the verse say that it was written only for Muhammad that he could sleep with anyone he wishes. Show me the words "can sleep with anyone.", which you wrote! In Qur'aan the key word is Nikah, which unwittingly you mentioned in "the Famius Nikah" verse. Rotflmao.

One can easily understand the verses without the need of any hadith.

Quoting translations from three translators does not prove that you understand the actual verse. Anyone who does not understand Qur'aan's verses in Arabic will run for Hadith, which you did.

You quoted 33:50 and did not continue through 33:51 and into 33:52., where the topic ends. You claim to be an Egyptian ex-muslim. You should be able to explain Arabic of the verses. Why is that so? Because it fits your agenda in not showing the truth to other readers. Stop this cherry-picking to make your own nonsensical point.

For all Muslims, four wives had been allowed with strict conditions of equality in terms of affection, love, care and maintenance.

For Prophet, the key word was Nikah. NO woman was halal for him without paying her Mehr. Read carefully: "Ya ayyuhan-nabi-iyo, inna ahlalna laka azwaajakal-laati aataita ujurahunna wa maa malakat yameenoka" What does this mean to you, Padre? Even for the "malakat yameen", mehr was fardh made for the prophet. I am sure this is going right into your head, not way high above.  Laughing What does azwaaj mean to you?  Laughing It means wives, not all women or any woman.  Laughing

He had no permission to sleep with any woman as you suggested atrociously because of your ignorance, which is understandable. However, I think you were just being mischievious.

You will be dismissed soon, so do not stand at ease, as I want to discuss the verses with you in the next post, which I will do later.

You are the one who insists on covering up for a guy who told the whole world he is allowed access to anything when no one else is allowed. He allowed himself access to any woman Ahmed, why does it upset you if it is your sister that he gets to have? It does not bother you that he takes someone else's sister, but your sister is like holier then other women or something?

He allowed himself to nikah as many women as he wants. Only to himself. And he did. By the Dozen. And your objection is that he had to pay a dowry - mahr? In this case, that is the same as you paying a prostitute.

And you state that I have to read 33:51 and 33:52 as well? Those verses make Muhammad worse, they make him into a monster not just a dirty old man.

In 33:51 he allows himself, and Only himself to *Do As He Wishes* with their turns. He can take one instead of the other with no regard to anything but his dick.

In 33:52 is the absolute BS, after allowing himselg anything under the Sun, it states that he can not marry anymore then what is under the Sun. And it still reiterates that he can have from what his right hand possess.

Btw BMZ, I would not jump for joy so much about the verse permitting Nikah. The word Nikha is not mentioned at all in the famous Nikah verse. It only states that "We made them Halal for you", so I would not advertize the rules of Nikah so much if I were you.

PS: As for being a moderator. I will never moderate a discussion I am in.
