The point is, it is so surprisingly EASY to "mock" islam, or a muslim...
Since the quran and ahadith are so full of nonsense, inconsistencies, errors, mistakes, faults, misunderstandings, and fairy tales - anything you say, commenting or criticizing islam, is already MOCKING IT !!!!
You [muslims] may be used to shut up and not question anything in your socalled "holy scriptures" - WE are used to ask questions and dig deep into stuff...
You better get used to what you call "mocking", since the questioning and criticizing will not come to a stop, its rather just beginning...
WE [west] will surely NOT shut up - its rather time for the muslims in muslim countries to start waking up... to the call of reality and reason, instead of blindly following cultish beliefs and rituals, remaining stuck in the 7th century !

Hello A_BThanks for drawing my attention to this section. I am very busy at some other sites full of hardcore Christians and on one where Christians are egged on by the FFI goon Anti-Jihad and others.
Will write more on the exchange between your goodself and Ahmed later but I have to say something about the latest question raised by you.

The point is that Qur'aan simply clarifies what truly happened in the past and how past scriptures went through corruption and forgeries. If we keep this simple point in our minds, every piece fits the puzzle and bingo! we get the answer and the message.
The above verse abrogates the biblical verse that caused hell of a confusion which continues to be exploited by the Christians and this will go on forever. In the abrogated biblical scripture, it was reported that God said,"Let us make man in our own image."
This went on fine with the Jews as for 3,500 years, they knew that only God made the man. They knew well that the word 'us" or "Us" simply referred to God. And even today the Jews believe that. They never thought for a moment that there were two or three or more Gods sitting there and talking amongst themselves to create man in their own image.
The Jews also knew well that God was talking to those present in the Heavenly Place and those could have been Angels, Demons, Jinns and other creations, created earlier by God.
Came in the Christians after Jesus was long gone or vanished from the scene and looked for the two or three characters of the Trinity everywhere in the Jewish holy scriptures. Lo! and behold!, they found it in the word Us or us in Genesis. 
This utter nonsense had to be repudiated and thus it was done away with accordingly and God told Muhammad in Qur'aan,"When your LORD said to the angels,'I am going to make man to rule the Earth......'"
Note that God did not use the royal We in this verse and clearly used First person singular.

Don't worry about Baal and others. Baal provides us with comical relief and interludes. lol!
All_Brains is no longer a Muslim but raises good questions and his language is never crude. Initially, I was also once harsh to him at FFI but I find him a better ex-Muslim among 'em all.
I am sorry you have not met Anti-Jihad, who is a free-lance roaming troll all over the internet. He too provides comical relief but he suffers from verbal diarrhoea. lol! I am sure you will see him dirtying the place soon.

Don't discourage him from studying Christianity, it is better for his psyche then islam. He never got around the idea of "who created the creator", so he needs to have a creator close by.
